View Full Version : Discussion on GMRF about Passrendering !!

Hi Alltogether !

In the last month we had often the discussion about passrendering with mental ray in Max.It is possible but not very flexible and the most kind of passes are not supported.
Now we try to start a discussion on the GMRF ( GERMAN MENTAL RAY FORUM (http://forum.german-mentalray-wiki.info/viewtopic.php?p=6358#6358) ) to try a fusion of the p_megaTK Puppet shader with the A&D shader. We hope that this is possible, but we need alot of expert knowledge for that project. Maybe there is a other way to reach that goal, but the main reason why we start that session is, that we can render all passes easy and with only one render command.

So please take part of that discussion and share all your opinions, impressions,experiences and knowledge.I think there is a way to reach this, that will be a great step for the community to make the work more flexible and faster.
No matter wich language, you can write everything in english i try to translate all threads from german to english.
