View Full Version : mia_exposure and colour correction shaders

Hi I've been checking out this thread here where Floze talks about plugging in a colour correct shader into the mia_exposure in Maya.
I had a quick play in max and couldn't figure out how I would do this in Max. (I'm using ctrl_colour_correction).

hi Bullseye,
in Max can you use a Shader list, in this list can you have some lens shader for example look here: http://forum.german-mentalray-wiki.info/viewtopic.php?t=282&highlight=dof
or you write you self phenomenon for example basicly on this shaders.
distortion (from Lume)
DofLensPlus or BA_DOF
mia_exposure_simple
or you use the js_exposure_control from Jan Sandstrom, this have many good functions.

Thats awesome !! I can't believe I missed that !!
I'd been wondering hot the shader lister does.
So are you using the js_exposure_control instead of the mia_exposure_simple ?
Wow I've had the js_exposure_control for a while and never tried it. Must go and play with it :)

Just wondering how you get the .dll files out of the BA shaders since there XSI addons (spdl files).
I have XSI so hopefully I'll install them there and that will unzip them. I'll try it tonight.
edit:
Aaah the Maya download should have the .dlls right ? The download isn't working at the moment,
the XSI ones come down but not the Maya ones.
This ones corrupt, I think. edit: just tried this morning an it worked :)
