Thx for the link Seeda, but i am interested more in the shading/ displacement/rendering process with MR.
How to model a landscape i know, but using displacement in MR i don't, i started to use MR like 1 week ago, and by this time i still don't know how to use the displacement module, allthough it's kinda the same like the V-ray one.
And i don't understand the texturing process of that landscape from Jeff Patton's blog.
And another thing, i'm not having a success in finding a good water shader, water like in an ocean or a lake...

i don't understand the texturing process of that landscape from Jeff Patton's blog.Post which step(s) you're having problems with and I'll try to help.
And another thing, i'm not having a success in finding a good water shader, water like in an ocean or a lake...Perhaps Zap's recent water posts will help:

Well Jeff, i managed to find a shader for the water, but i'm having problems in the displacement process (i've used the program u mentioned in u'r blog to create the displacement blog) and also in the texturing side.
Didn't find a good way to use the mr_sun and mr_sky till now....images get either too bright, either too dark.....
I'm gonna be out of town for a couple of days and i will not be able to access the forums, but when i will get back i will "bump" this topic, until then, all Hints and Tips are more than welcome.
Cheers,
Jack
