View Full Version : MRcarpaint with no light? & How can I speed up my rendering??

hello! It's my first new thread in this site.

I am trying to use MRcarpaint shader with only FG bounce these days. I can't find a good solution for 'no lght' setting for carpaint. The pic bellow is only with FG result, and there is no lit_color and flake effect.

So I put lights in the middle of the bounce cards for emit specular only and just link to the carpaint geometry to make the light angle based color and flake effect appear like the image bellow, and I get a better result. But in this case, I find it's hard to control the light intensity relative to the bounce card, and I have no idea to get a more physical correct workaroud. Is there any better way to sovle my question??

Second question...
I tried a production quality for my test above(some brightness contrast adjust in PS)
But it took almost 2hrs to render in 1280*1024 size...about 40min for FG, 1 hour for last. Could anyone tell me some tips to speed up my render for production quality??
