Steamy Mirror

I'm at a loss here and need a hand if possible. I'm trying to create a steamy/dirty mirror but can't seem to get the right effect to save my life. I want it to look like water has beaded up and dripped down, and also add a "hand brushed" clear spot... I'm using Mental Ray and Maya 2011 currently. Any suggestions would be awesome! I've been working on it for a few days now...
