Most of my shaders are now available for win 32, win 64, linux 32, linux 64 and OSX.
Thanks to the people that helped me compile for different platforms.
Especially David Lanier for the win 64, linux 32 and 64 versions.
As a gift to the MentalRay community there is also the source code for them included.
Maybe someone can learn something from it.
There is also a pack with just the source code. Look at the middle of the page.
Enjoy! :D

Just wanted to say that this is realy appreciated.
It is realy nice when someone gives his shaders for free.
its just great when he help other use it and give support
for his shaders.
but when someone gives his source code away.
this is simply amazing.
its not like giving your babies away, its like posting there DNA :D
so what I am realy saying here is, and I think I can speak for
all of us this time -
Thank you very much Pixero.

When I started to learn how to write shaders I decided NOT trying to sell them for some small fee but instead give them away. Simply because I too like to get things for free.
If that decision somehow has influenced others in the MR community that's great.

Me too. As I am self tought, I like to learn by looking at examples.
I really wish Mental Images would release more example code than the base shaders that are available. (Hint)
(Or should I say "Herr Sandström"? )
Only if you want me to call you Herr Andersson. ;)
Great News, thanks a lot Pixero !

Thanks for the advice Dan. Ive made the changes and am just waiting for them to be approved so I can see whether it worked.
How come you avoid article submission? I thought it was a good source of one-way links.

Sorry to dig up an old thread. I'm trying to use the JS_fisheye lens shader. I'm using maya 2009 x64, when apply the JS_fisheye as a mental ray lens shader it just renders black.
I'm thinking it's to do with the shader needing to be recompiled for my version of maya/mental ray. I have no coding background and was wondering if anybody could help me recompile this shader so I'm able to use it :)
Here is a link to the shader with the source
