I finally gotten a break where I can start playing around and testing a few things, and I came across a problem with using the lume tools and the mrSun&Sky
Using the Mist(lume) in the camera's volume shader stops showing up when using the mrSun&Sky

Has anyone found/can think of a work-around for this?
I've messed about with it, but can't seem to find a combination that works.

I am gonna try some of the other lume shaders and see what happens.

I have also problems with the submerge(lume) shader, trying to look out of the water. But this isn't a daylight porblem but has something to do with MR3.5. Just have to re-learn to use the lume shaders.

@Schjaak:
I have used submerge(lume) fine with mr3.5
what are your settings and what is your scene like?
I have noticed a few things that are awkward with submerge(lume) in Max, such as it not working too well for shallower scenes (like a sink) One of the reasons is the Density setting in the shader caps at 1.0
I edited my *.mi file for the shader to be able to increase the density even more.
I'll post a sample of what I'm talking about a little latter.

@hot chip:
thanks, I checked it out, but it doesn't seem to make a difference. I think that it has more to do with the (lume) shader itself conflicting with the mrSun&mrSky
It is as though the (lume) shader is getting "overridden" and its effect is not showing up.
I'll dig into it all more in a couple of days when I get back in front of Max.

same down here, I think it is related to the exposure control which needs to be used. For a misty effect try putting the physical sky shader in lens or volume and change the areal perspective settings in the physical sky environment shader. it is not creating layered mist but gives mist for sure

@ Luckumutt:
I am learning to control th lumes with MR3.5 and it's going well. It just seems that some (not all) needed to be used slightly different. When I had a nice submerge lume scene with volume light (viz2007), it just looked awfull when rendring it with MR3.5. But I'm allmost there. Nothing to worry about. I'm just saying that not everything works axactly the same in MR3.5 as in previous versions.
