When people from cgtalk move to this site...

Right, you guys know, we firsly the community at Maya MR forum at cgsociety... And it seems we still like that forum and no way to move to the new house :mad:

We don’t mean to upset anybody. all we are trying to do is created a mental ray site.
There is no modeling, rigging, compositing, animation or anything like that here, we are just a dedicated mental ray information site.

We are a big cg community and the more information the better it is for everybody.

I love CGtalk but just as well I love another 10 forums and I go to all of them everyday. Besides this what people ask for, all we did was put some of our time to make everyone happy.

As Julian said Cgtalk is a Big comunity with lots of topics and subjects, my mental is only mental ray

i think this site is brilliant. cgtalk is getting too congested, and mentalray deserves a forum like this by now. LAMRUG is great but a bit too tecchy for the average user, cgtalk has lots of info but its nearly impossible to find. Woo to myMentalray I say.

I cant believe there is FINIALLY a site for Mental Ray. There are other sites out there that feature Mental Ray, but none so far have a dedicated section on it. As an avid Maya user, I depend on Merntal Ray as my main source for rendering.

I'm thrilled to see this site. IMHO, a site like this has been needed for a few years now. I had wanted to make something very similar, but never had time or most importantly...the knowledge to create something this nice.

Anywho, it's great to finally have all things mental under one roof without having to scour through all my various links for that much needed tidbit of info.

Bravo to the developers of the site here for creating this great resource that will ultimately help each of us.

MR is a HUGE and vast world of possibilities and we are all "new" on its realm... :)

Other sites have this feature, mental ray, but not so far, there is a special section. As an avid Maya user, I rely on mine for my show Merntal the main source.
