hi,

attached images herein were my test renders with max9 and mr3.5

I dont know how those blotchy artifacts occurs on laminated flooring and the wall with wood finish both used the interpolation for blurred reflections. I used one free area light (photometric) for indirect lighting and those artifacts or blotchiness occur even I have medium fg preset, but with mr area omni it doesn't.

I dont know if this is a bug. Could anyone can give me some insights about this? any words from you are welcome.:)

sorry about my english;)

Have you tried turning up the interpolated grid density ?
Also you best posting images directly in the forum then using pdf files.

cheers

I'm sorry about that.:)

I've tried to do ur suggestion and it works. Have u any explanation about this? Is the interpolation depends on the view or the actual material observation in real life?

And here is my latest render turning up interpolation w/ detailed distance used.

And thanks for the help Bullseye :D
