I started leraning how to use MR volume effects with shaders....(till now, i used Max's volumetric effects such as volume light, fog etc)...from a couple of scenes i downloaded i noticed 2 strange things...
1). if you assign a volume shader to a spot light....the volume will only be visible if there is some kind of geometry (i used a plane) behind the volume......otherwise the volume desapears....why is that?????
2). even light volume shaders (such as parti volume) are assigned to the camera shader......so what happens if i wanted to use various different volume shaders in my scene??? (lets say....parti volume for the lights.....mist for the camera...etc)?????
