Hi Guys,

very very good tool. i think it is better as esphere or sme. :rolleyes:

mmmm hot chip , is easy to use ??

everybody talks about of material editor of nodes its a best but i think is confuse .


i use 3dsmax , i never touched a material editor of nodes. its looks ;) stranges

hi,

very easy to install and fast, because it is not a script, it is a realy plugin. Best overview and handling for complex materials. Double klick on the template and you have the parameters, as like XSI. Drag&Drop between viewport or Material Editor to the NodeJoe Editor. This is a great tool. ;)

Hi Guys,

the plugin NodeJoe is nice, but at this time, is the network rendering don´t work. Becareful !!!! use only dummy or testszene ;)

my 3ds max 9 extension 1 32bit always crash after the installation of Node joe.. sme

have u guys have the same problems? or it just me.. :(

the update still crash :( but i think i found the solution it's becouse i'm seting di ui to max-mentalray tools that by default setting the material editor to used the A&D material.. setting it back to max are works fine.. :)

Hi Guys,

Now is aviable the new Public Beta 0.82, this have many bug fixed ( but not MR+Preview+Background Map :( ) and more speed. User Shader Galerie for all Renderers (very nice)...

bug founded: if gelato is instaled ,when nodejoe generates thumbs for gso shaders max crash...:eek:

Now is aviable the new Public Beta 0.822.

new features:

a) Zoom- and Pan-Tools
b) Ctlr + Alt + middle mouse button switches into a temporary zoom mode
c) New Shortcuts for the Zoom- and Pan-Tools ( customizable via the 3dsmax-user interface)


bugfixes:

a) The rendering of previews now works with incomplete implementations of some materials, too - e.g. GELATO-materials.
b) The handling of XRef-materials works now correctly.
c) Show Background in Preview is only available for materials.

a new NodeJoe beta version 0.86!

new features:

The NodeView was completely rewritten!
- New graphical system allows a aster work within NodeJoe - even with hundreds of nodes.
- Hide Unused Nodeslots can now be assigned to individual nodes.
- Nodes are expanding themselfs while dragging an edge over them.
- Scalable Nodes
- The background and scrollbars adapt the used 3dsmax skin.
- Looks better :)

- Material2Shader and Normal-Bump are now supported, too.
- Nodes are tagged with the edges - known from the material editor - , if the material is used in the scene or is selected.
- Material libraries dont generate previews in the context menu by default. That can be switched for any category / library.
