source or src folder where?

Sorry guys for this one and a newbie, but i download some of the shaders shared here but i found with a terrible src or source folder. :confused:
Where i need to copy the content of those folders? Im using MaYa 7 and 8.5

Its any diference in MaYa 7, 8 or 8.5?

Please help.
