Hello to the forum.
I have an issue since i am not very advanced in mentalray node knowledge:
As you can see in the photo attached the shadow of the 3D plane on the ground - a matte material- is added equaly irrespective of matte material background ilumination, as if the sun still hits the ground despite the 3D plane blocking it. So what i need is a way to add shadow by image background intensity: clear zones get a bigger increase of 3D shadow strenght instead the already shaded zone in picture get just a slight increase.
Maybe the luminace node can be employed for it, but i don't know how would a rendertree would look like.
Any ideas?
