I'm rendering a pretty complex scene (6 houses, cars, thousands of proxies) so I thought of using DBR. I'm using Max2010 64bit, and I have a desktop AMD x2, and a laptop Core 2 duo. When I set everything up there were no problems, but afterwards I found that after an hour or two, mentalray crashes with the message that one of the hosts could not be contacted. On both of the computers everything works as it should when DBR is off. Any ideas why? Could it be a network problem?
I forgot to mention that the desktop runs WinXP[x64], and the laptop win 7[64]. It never happens during frames which take less than one hour, only on the longer ones.
