Hi All,

I've made an A+D material with a bitmap placed in the cutout slot. The transparency renders correctly.

When I add a bitmap in the environment slot, the environment map shows up where the object should be transparent... i.e. no transparancy gets calculated anymore.

How can I solve this problem?

Use the cut out map as a mask for the environment map. That should work.

Use a MRPhysical Sky shader with a bitmap in the custom bitmap in the enviromnent slot.

(Nisus ,I also answered on CGarchitect in more detail but I thought others would like to know too)
