Mental Ray and RPF

I cant seem to find a good solution for being able to get the
material ID to render out in an RPF file using MR. Anyone have
any work around for this ?

Hey Mike,

Much as it pains me to say this, the best way to
do Mat ID renders is to just switch over to the scanline.:confused:

We usually do this for all elements that don't require
any MR specific functions. (Velocity, for example is
another we do this a lot for).

Yeah, I find it to be a bit of a pain to have to do it this way.
In the end, it still makes life easier than rerendering again and
again. I guess ill file a bug report with autodesk and keep wishing.:p
