Hey all. I have a problem. With animation in the dark places textures flickers, if if the value "Blur" is less than 1. If the value is 1 then all is well, but the texture is too blurry. How to make that there was no flickering?

Sorry for my English.

Rendering size PAL(768x576).AA tried 1,16; 1,64; 1,256.

I'm not a specialist about animation, but I think that flickering is due to the FG more than the antialiasing.

The main way is to pre-calculate your FG solution under several POV and along the timeline. Look for topics about this on mymr forum. ;)

exactly, have you tried a little test without FG? in maya there is a way to render just the FG maps, so what i do is set the animation to every n frames, then freeze it and voila! no flickering. i dont know how to do it in max, but this (http://3dsmaxrendering.blogspot.com/2008/04/why-does-my-animation-flicker_02.html) tutorial might help...

if you are using the mental ray map manager, I think deactivating texture filtering in the bitmap will be enough, or at least try to change it to "summed area", and render AA 4,16
