Hi all
I'm hoping someone can help me as I'm having trouble getting DBR working between my PC and laptop.
I have previously used this without problems using max 9 (32bit) but i have recently upgraded my laptop to XP pro x64 and added max 2009 (32bit & 64bit) to the mix. My main work is still done on my PC (XP pro 32bit), on which I have max 9 and 2009 (32bit) installed and I use my laptop to add a little bit of extra horsepower when needed.
As far as I know you can't use DBR between 32bit and 64bit versions of max (please correct me if I'm wrong), so I have been attempting to use DBR on max 2009 as I have both the 32bit and 64bit versions installed. Under task manager on my laptop the raysat process appears but nothing happens, the extra buckets seem evident on the render too but they stay black. I'm running Kaspersky Internet Security on my laptop and have tried disabling the firewall but didn't help.
