Hows it going,

In Vray theres a feature that you can save all your render passes into one open exr file. Is this possible with MentalRay? and if so how? Also what is the best lossless compression for production?

3d studio max.

Thanks

A collection of mental ray shaders for 3dsmax 2009 (32- and 64-bit). Currently contains SlideElements, which saves multiple 3dsmax render elements to a single .exr file (source and Visual Studio 2008 project available). Please post feedback or questions on this cgtalk thread.

wheen rendering is done, "save file as" and pick exr?

or in the F10 window (render-common-tab) pick "save file" then put a
pre-chosen name for the render you're about to make and pick "exr" in the list of available render outputs?

unless i'm misunderstanding the Q this is a pretty basic and simple task, let me know :)
