Hi,
I'm a 3D Studio Max user, and I've a chance to use a rendering cluster (192 core!).
By the way, we have installed MR stand alone on this machine (is a linux 64bit system), so no way to install directly 3DS Max on it.
So we are obliged to export.mi files from 3DS Max and send them to the linux cluster.
We have solved some problems concerning the different syntiax of the path construction (from Win ot Linux) and finally performed some single frame rendering.
We have tried to render some animation, but we was very surpised when, exporting from 3DS Max, the .mi export tool generated an .mi file for each frame!
This means that if we have to render a 60 secs. animation at 25 fps we have to modifiy 1500 .mi files and send them to the rendering cluster!!!:eek::
Is it possible to generate only one .mi file for the whole animation?
Does anyone knows if there are any tips/tools or scripts to perform this?
than you
