View Full Version : The butterfly (soft nudity)
Hi folks
I post my last work, a tribute to the Aubade campaign...
I stole them the camera, the pose and the lights.
I made a new string with flower and butterfly.
Everythings was made under 3dsmax with mental ray...
The only post production is the desaturation of the image...
Hope u like it

model and lighting is aces
one remark on her a$$ though:
the bump on the cheeks might be a bit to high, looks like powder in the endgame, might wanna decrease that a big
other then that.. dude.. nice one (did you model her or was the model given?)
cheers

I've already said it, Mister Couenne : that's a niiiiiice chick... hum job ! :D
Ethan: yep bump might be a bit high you're right but i made the choice of reality (perhaps a bad one) this is why, you never see that on a fashion photo. But it's always hard to have a good balance between reality (the purpose of this work) and a "dream" picture (purpose of fashion). And yes i model her ^^ but i got good reference.
Shimrod: thanks man (always in the good and right place i see)

Nice one very editorial.
I am not a fan of the bump as stated it makes her look like she has goose bumps a little cold in room maybe
Overall it rocks thanx for piece of inspiration
Thanks reni, seems nobody like my ass bump ^^ oki doki i'll make it smoother next time...

i was going with your explenation. but as you said yourself, you're going for a REAL ass bump which might idd be stronger, but you can't combine a real ass bump with a fashion shot, those 2 contradict somewhat eachother?
No doubt if you had not made a fashion shot with the same ass bump, there would be np, but in this case it's clearly studio lighting etc, the lighting reflects on the edge of her a$$ > the lighting is aces - the bump is aces as well, they just don't concur with eachother m8 :)
again, great job - feel free to post such max scenes for others to learn out ^^ :P
cheers
Ethan: You're completely right, i'ts a fashion studio photo shoot, doing bump so strong was a mistake... I didn't made the right choice...

Love this term : "ass bump".:D:D
This is an eternal choice, like in archi works : photorealistic picture with realistic failures/defects/faults (choose the right term) or sunny smooth clean vray-look renders ?
