Hi,

I am writing my self volume shader for using particel-system oder solid objects, because afterburn ist not work this MR. Here is my first rendering test from my bo_volume shader. At present i have same bug but i hope i can eliminate the bugs to january. :)

the second link is broken.

But the shader look very interesting. do you have your knowledge from the "writing shaders" book from mental images?

Hello Hot Chip !

Are you planning to release this shader for XSI and Maya also ? Is it dll ? We want it ;)

hi, i want make two difference shader. The first shader is a phenomen for simpel solid object or metaball particels. This can you use vor Maya or Max. In the other version is dll for Max, you have more parameters and i hope ist work with the 3DS Max vertex-particels. That is problem of all volumen shaders for particel. You must programming your shader for different particel engines. For XSI can you use die binary-alchemy shaders and that is, what i want programming in a future for Max. I hope :o

Ok, I understand that. Thank you for your answer, eagerly waiting for the Maya version !

Looks promising! I'm looking forward to seeing the .mi on this one because I'm also trying to learn how to write phenomenon from the manual (I've all but given up on figuring out how to compile a .dll)

But anyway, it's been great to see your .mi files since they are working examples. I never have been able to get that "stark" shader to work from the documents...

So a big thanks to you from me!
