hi,
i have a problem with rendering a object when ever i render it i get small black squares (smaller than the bucket size). it seems to be effected by the cuttout, and back face culing parameters. i have tried a standrad material and get the same errors. the material has no reflections or refractions.

but when i place the object in its own scene it render fine.

heres the error code
PHEN 0.6 error: mia_material(_x): A reflection ray hit some object returning invalid numbers. NaN prevention now enabled.

thanks

-play with the "Force 2 sided rendering" setting in your Common tab in your render settings.

-check your geometry and make sure the normals are facing the right direction...try flipping the faces.

-also check your object and layer parameters to make sure that all of the visible properties are correct.

Maybe the shader DL3DBlackspotsRemover from David Lanier could help you ?

You can find it here : http://dl3d.free.fr/download_shaders.php
